Biography

李燕医生

President Li Yan holds a master’s degree in plastic surgery and is a chief physician. She has more than 20 years of experience in plastic surgery and over 10,000 successful cases, with superb skills and rich experience. She has been invited multiple times to participate in technical exchange and training in South Korea, and has been invited to attend aesthetic medicine conferences to present academic achievements. Dedicated to exploring safe and scientific plastic surgery techniques, she has always maintained a rigorous and responsible medical attitude and continued to pursue in-depth study. She was awarded the 2012 Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the Science and Technology Achievement Award.

President Li’s surgical designs are aesthetically refined and her techniques are delicate. She emphasizes preoperative and postoperative precautions and maintenance. She is a versatile plastic surgeon and is particularly skilled in full-face autologous fat grafting, eye plastic surgery, and revision surgery for failed eye plastic surgery.
President Li Yan points out that revision surgery for failed eye plastic surgery mainly includes the following conditions: narrowing overly wide double eyelids and widening overly narrow double eyelids; unsmooth double eyelid curvature; asymmetric or unsatisfactory shape; a sausage-like appearance of the double eyelids; postoperative upper eyelid ptosis, laxity, upper eyelid hollowing, and upper eyelid puffiness; as well as disappearance of the crease after suture blepharoplasty, exposed suture knots, and incomplete eye closure.

Regarding medial and lateral canthal revision, President Li points out that failed medial canthoplasty mainly includes three aspects: indistinct medial canthus, excessive scarring, and medial canthal breakdown. For medial canthal breakdown, repair is performed with orbicularis oculi muscle reconstruction and skin flap repair; for scarring, improvement is achieved by reducing intraoperative trauma and minimizing postoperative traction and stimulation of the scar; for an indistinct medial canthus, repair is performed by addressing the internal muscles. President Li Yan primarily uses the modified Fox method for lateral canthoplasty, so postoperative adhesion and rounding do not occur. Lateral canthal revision should be tailored to the patient’s specific condition.
